Keep going, keep growing, and now glowing. This is exactly what my Amal Journey looks like.

Growth done, it’s time to go and glow.
Growth done, it’s time to Go & Glow.

Reflecting on my fellowship journey, I remember the anxious feeling.
Well, listening to my seniors and one of my friends rant about how this fellowship changed their perspective about things, and how they feel confident while presenting, putting their opinions on the table, it was the moment of realization, to get enrolled in this program because at a certain point I was lacking in skills and this fellowship felt like the best option to enhance my overall personality for personal and professional way.

The selection procedure to interview and then the orientation was an overwhelming experience. It all started in the initial two weeks when we had to critically think and find the actual purpose of our lives, what our goals are and how we will be working to fulfill those goals. Honestly, the initial weeks were tough to manage. University and fellowship side by side a great burden for the majority of the fellows.

I relate my experience at Amal with a butterfly. Just like butterfly hides when it rains, I was hiding away from public speaking, class participation, taking initiative and sharing my experiences.

Before Amal Fellowship and also initial two weeks, Eman hiding away from facing her fears.

After a month passed by, I started participating in sessions, break out rooms, leading without hesitation, much high confidence while sharing my opinion. Amal honestly has nourished me to collect the drops of water after the rain by making sure to refine our raw selves in a bright one.

Collecting the Life changing tips for a better future.

The weekly submissions, getting in and working with strangers later becoming our friends, rants about the sessions, collecting funds for a cause, discovering WHYs, the mock assessments, and interviews, discussing the ideas about megaproject to finalizing and not to forgot the 1on1 session with respected Sir Saad. This has definitely highlighted me and reminded the purpose of my life.

Just like butterflies are great for gardens as they pollinate to produce new seeds, Amal fellowship has helped me to be more humble and more confident.

Growing with Amal

In a nutshell, I would say this, this journey was all about leaving the comfort zone and facing our fears. I can proudly say that I am a more confident Eman not shy anymore. This wasn’t possible without Sir Saad and Ma’am Fizza and my amazing circle members ( Sunaina, Sadia, Maham, Nabeel, Osama, Taha, and also Bushra). A big shout out for helping me in growing and I will be glowing the rest of my life.

Ready to Glow.
In her Garden.

I can’t believe that this journey came to its end this soon. Batch 189 ❤
